My little experience as a medical rep has taught me that no one knows what challenges awaits them on daily basis.
On this very fateful day, I arrived at the premise of one my clients, a very big pharmacy in Lagos. As I was parking my car, one of the boys rushed to my car, and said, Pharmacist, thank God you are here, we have a very important customer in there, but he has been asking us some questions, most of which we cannot answer, he is very angry now, called us charlatans and he is demanding to see our pharmacist, and the truth is that our pharmacist is not in town and his number is not even going through, the man has been asking if it is only one pharmacist we have here, we have told him no, that the other one’s phone is switched off and

Dear proud pharmacist,
I love what you are doing and I want to share an experience I had recently. I got to work yesterday to find one of my best client waiting for me, we exchange pleasantries and she informed me that she has been here for over 30mins, eyaah, my apologies, I was just held by a little traffic, we both walked into my office, sat her down to hear her complain, she told me that she is angry with me because I did not attend her sister’s wedding, meanwhile she came personally to invite me, on that too I tendered an unreserved apology, then she went on with her complain, she told me she took her 1 year old child to an hospital to complain of a diarrhea that has refused to go even after treating her with ORS and zinc, though she was getting better when she was giving her the ORS, zinc and flaggyl, the baby was almost ok and playing before her husband insisted that she take the bay to the hospital as she was running temperature a bit, so at the hospital they diagnosed malaria and typhoid and gave us all these drugs (she brought out some drugs), but since then, though she no longer runs temperature, but the stooling has tripled and now she is very weak, I took her back, they said I should continue with the drugs. I checked the drugs and they were P.alaxin, augmentin, pirirton for children, multivite and vitamin C. ..as I was going through the drug, her phone rang, she excused herself and came back about two minutes later, she told me that was her brother in law, that he is a pharmacist too, that she has told him so much about me,so he wants to see that my pharmacist today, and I asked her where he was now, she told me he is coming, just parking his car….knock knock knock …come I said, as the door opened…lo and behold it was my lecturer, not just that, he is my project supervisor in clinical pharmacy…….
I will stop the gist here,…at this junction, CAN YOU DELIVER???, for those of us that graduated from UNN, imagine say na Prof Aguwa or Prof mrs. Ukwe enter, hehe…. me I dey come o…I go see una by Friday
